OUR STORY
Northeast was founded by Josh Slabb, whose work has long been guided by a deep respect for Country, culture, and community. With many years of experience in environmental management and cultural education, Josh has worked across government, education, sporting organisations, business, and environmental sectors. His work centres on caring for Country and strengthening the connection between people, culture, and the environment. Helping communities understand the responsibility we all share in protecting the land and the knowledge it holds.
Through Northeast, Josh brings this experience together to create meaningful opportunities for people to engage with culture and place. Whether working with organisations, schools, or community groups, the focus remains the same. NE helps foster understanding, building respect, and encouraging stronger relationships with Country and with each other.
Together, the Northeast team works to create experiences that strengthen community, honour culture, and encourage a deeper way of living with respect for Country.
